5th Season owners Bob Mennitt and Rick Urben opened their shop on May 5th, 2006 and never looked back! Their shop has grown to be a New Hope must. Their sense of style and choosing the right products for their clients has made them an instant success. They both have life long retail backgrounds and it shows when you walk into their shop.
“We want everyone who walks through our front door to feel like a welcome guest in our home,” says Rick. “We are very thankful for the support we have had from the community.”

5th Season is located in the Historic Picket House,
just off of Bridge Street, New Hope, PA and nestled between the
historic Delaware Canal and the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad.
5th Season offers an eclectic mix of garden accesories as well as wonderful gifts and home accents for all occasions.
American primitive painter Jospeph Pickett
(1848-1918) lived in New Hope his entire life. During
his lifetime, Pickett was a canal-boat builder, carpenter,
and shopkeeper. He started painting when he was about 65 even
though he had never had any formal art training. The house
at 30 W Bridge Street was the last place he lived with his wife,
Emily. Pickett’s paintings hang in prestigious museums
around the east coast. We feel privledged to have our shop in his home. There is much history here and we are happy to add to the legacy of our town.
